The campaign of COD Ghosts 2 should hopefully continue with where the story left off in the original Ghosts game. There is a lot to look forward to in the new story and hopefully a few unanswered questions will finally be answered. For those wondering, there are a few mild spoilers from the original Ghosts game in this article. If you’ve already played through the original game or don’t mind reading spoilers, read on for more on the upcoming COD Ghosts 2 campaign including co-op.
Gabriel Rorke is one of the biggest video game villains we’re aware of and even after his encounter with the Ghosts in the original game, he’s still managed to get out of a dangerous situation alive. In previous COD franchises, the villains eventually get taken down – take Vladmir Makarov for example – a bad guy that lasted a long time before finally being dealt with for good in Modern Warfare 3.
There’s no doubt that Gabriel Rorke will make a return in COD Ghosts 2 but whether the player will have a chance to take him down or not is anybody’s guess.
You may have missed this but after the credits of the original Ghosts game, Logan was seen in the jungle pit, presumably being tortured in a similar way to how Rorke was tortured. It’s very interesting to think what could come out of this scene. Could Logan be trapped there? Would a rescue mission be in order for COD Ghosts 2 or will the torture send Logan down a darker path? There’s so many possibilities with Logan’s own personal story arc and seeing as it was essentially left on a cliffhanger at the end of the original game we cannot wait to see what happens to him next.
Call of Duty Ghosts 2 Co-Op Campaign
Probably the single most anticipated features of the campaign of Call of Duty Ghosts is full cooperative gameplay. Co-Op is what’s been missing from most of the former COD games, and is something that many die-hard fans have been asking for over the years.
Treyarch and the others have placed such an emphasis on their multiplayer gameplay, the campaign is something that’s been sort of lacking over the years. This is believed to be a thing of the past with COD Ghosts 2 co-op which is rumored to feature at least four players that can either be online of offline. While this has yet to be confirmed, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for an E3 official announcement later this year.
Hopefully the next game following on from the original story will be launched at some point in November later this year.
