Killstreaks are one of the most unique aspects of Call of Duty and we’re hoping to see some very interesting Call of Duty Ghosts 2 killstreaks. It’s likely that Ghosts 2 will take a step towards future combat, just like the previous COD titles have but there will be a number of elements that will only be seen in Ghosts. Below, we have detailed some of the possible Call of Duty Ghosts 2 killstreaks which are of course, what we’re hoping to see.
With the theme around dogs, there’s almost no doubt that Call of Duty Ghosts 2 will have some kind of Guard Dog perk. Guard Dog was used in the original Ghosts game and if it made a return in the next installment in the Ghosts franchise then players will be able to activate a dog companion that can follow you, attack enemies and growl when other players are near.
The Maniac perk is a slightly toned down Juggernaut, which could also make an appearance in Ghosts 2. The Maniac perk will allow players to enter a juggernaut suit but instead of having any firepower, players will have to resort to using knives on other enemy players.
Night Owl is a perk that adds an AI drone to help support you. The drone will follow you round and it has a number of uses. The Night Owl can detect nearby enemies just like a motion sensor and it can also warn you of incoming missiles.
Expect to see UAVs, counter-UAVs, care packages and plenty of other well known scorestreaks that have been in Call of Duty games for years. Hopefully we’ll see some new scorestreaks and killstreaks too but the base selection of scorestreaks that is seen in every other COD game is bound to be available in COD Ghosts 2.
One killstreak we would love to see in Ghosts 2 is ODIN. This is an expensive killstreaks that gives players access to the ODIN satellite. With ODIN players can send care packages to their teammates, spawn an AI controlled juggernaut, thrown down smokes, throw flashes and mark enemy players.
