The pro scene for Call of Duty has been growing consistently over the last few years and we think the COD Ghosts 2 pro scene will be the biggest pro scene we’ve seen for Call of Duty yet. We’ve listed some of the top teams to keep an eye on when Ghosts 2 is released.
Perhaps the most well-known Call of Duty clan in all of existence, FaZe has been around for a long time and their presence is known everywhere. Recently FaZe has started to expand into new games, including Counter Strike: Global Offensive but FaZe’s home will always be with Call of Duty. We can’t wait to see how the NA FaZe team does in COD Ghosts 2 later this year.
The next most popular COD team is OpTic Gaming. Just like Faze, OpTic are known across the world. However, even with all of this popularity, the OpTic guys are still just as dedicated as proving themselves as all of the other pro teams and they’re among the top qualified pro NA teams for the Black Ops 3 world league.
Currently the EnVyUs lineup is on fire! We’d hope to see the same strong performance from EnVyUs in the new Call of Duty title planned for release later this year. We think EnVyUs will be among the top three teams in the world in 2016 and 2017.
Infused gaming are keeping the UK scene strong, recently taking a 2-0 lead in the first week of the European pro division stage 1. We think Infused has a chance to play against the top teams in the world league in Black Ops 3 and with enough practice they’ll be sure to return for the COD Ghosts 2 world league too.
Epsilon is one of the best performing COD teams in the Europe region so far in 2016 and they have a lot more to show us. We’d hope to see Epsilon’s recent good performance the start of something great with their team.
