In the original Call of Duty Ghosts game there were a number of different factions in the campaign and these were reflected in the multiplayer game modes too. In this article we talk about the different factions that may be in Call of Duty Ghosts 2.
Below, we take a closer look at some very familiar factions including Ghosts, The Federation, Defense Intelligence Agency, USAF, and the Cryptids.
The Ghosts are the most important faction in Call of Duty Ghosts – they are a friendly faction and they are made up of ex-U.S. Special Operations Force members. In multiplayer the Ghosts faction plays it out against the Federation.
The Federation is the main enemy faction in Call of Duty Ghosts – they are the major enemy faction in the campaign and they are also one of the playable sides in multiplayer. The Federation is also known as the Federation of the Americas and it consists of political, economical and military forces from North America, South America and everywhere in between. In Ghosts the Federation’s main base of operations is in Caracas, Venezuela.
In the campaign, the biggest player in the Federation is Gabriel T. Rorke.
United States Air Force
The United States Air Force doesn’t play a huge part in Call of Duty Ghosts but a character named Kyra Mosley, who is a specialist on the ODIN space station is an important part of the story.
Defense Intelligence Agency
The Defense Intelligence Agency is considered a force that had been set out to protect humans against the Cryptid alien race, which are part of the Extinction game mode.
The Cryptids are the enemy aliens that players fight against in the Extinction game mode. According to the backstory the Cryptids have been around since before the dinosaurs and there are now a large variety of different Cryptid species. The Cryptids aren’t considered a part of the campaign but a lot of work has gone into the origin story behind them
