We’ve talked a little bit about the top professional teams for Call of Duty eSports, but what about entry level eSports for everyday players? If you’d like to step up your game and enter the world of competitive Call of Duty, there are plenty of places to get started, some of which offer cash prizes as rewards!
Below, will be disclosing all you need to know about Call of Duty Ghots 2 eSports including some of the top game battles and some tips to have you come out on top.
First Things First
To play Call of Duty competitively you will need a solid team of four players that are willing to play with each other for the long term. Your team will need to have a decent chemistry, so it’s best to pick your friends over players you know who may perform better.
Gfinity is a great place to play weekly games with your Black Ops 3 team. There are games for PS4 and Xbox One and these tournaments offer cash prizes. Some of the tournaments are available for free, whilst others are only available for paying members. The great thing about Gfinity however is that there is no limit to the amount of free tournaments you can play and you can keep coming back each week for more tournaments.
UMG Gaming has a wide range of tournaments for Black Ops 3, ranging across different skill levels. This means that if your team isn’t quite cut out for professional play, you can stand a chance in the amateur league and still pick up some prizes. UMG’s prize system rewards premium paying members generously, but free members can get a cut of prize money, although there are some limitations in place.
MLG host their own tournaments called Game Battles – finding a tournament on Game Battles is harder but the hype for these tournaments can be phenomenal.
Practice Makes Perfect
If you enter into any tournaments and don’t perform well, don’t take it to heart. It will take time to improve to the point where you have the chance to compete – just give it time and after a while you’ll be ready to compete for real prizes.
