Across all of the different game modes in the original Ghosts game there were a number of really interesting items that haven’t been in other Call of Duty games since. We’d really like to see a few items make a return in Call of Duty Ghosts 2 and we personally don’t see why they can’t. Hopefully Infinity Ward will be nice enough to add these three epic items into the next Call of Duty game.
Below, we’ll be taking you through three of the top features we’ would love to see make its return to COD Ghosts 2.
Melee weapons can be a lot of fun, especially when they’re super-charged and can one-hit players from any angle. The Wristblades in Call of Duty Ghosts were clearly inspired by the Predator and they’re absolutely deadly. Unfortunately the Wristblades were only available as a field order on one specific map – we’d love to see them return as a special item or a special killstreak reward in Call of Duty Ghosts 2.
Call of Duty Ghosts was the first game in the COD franchise to introduce laser weapons to players. The laser weapons were only available in the Extinction game mode and the ARK attachment was also only available in this mode. However, with the addition of laser weapons in Advanced Warfare multiplayer, we don’t see why the ARK attachment couldn’t be added to the attachments screen in Ghosts 2. So what does the ARK do? With the ARK, players can transform any weapon to do laser damage.
The Hypno Knife was another interesting item that was originally only available in Extinction mode, but we think that with a little bit of tweaking it could be made available in online multiplayer too. In Extinction mode the Hypno Knife could be used to turn any Cryptid into an ally. A multiplayer tweaked version could potentially turn any organic killstreak rewards into allies too. Imagine being able to knife another player’s guard dog and have it turn on them in the blink of an eye? We think the Hypno Knife could be epic in multiplayer!
